Talking Monks in Pre-Searing...

So i've come to realize that the pre-searing monk is probably the easiest character to get through with. I know all of pre-sear is very easy but i went around tanking as many big groups of monsters i could find in regent valley just to test my theory.

And my conclusion is thus: Goddamn that was easy. didnt even drop below 75% health and used minimal energy.

All i ever really needed to do was pop on retribution and i could easily spam Healing Breeze and even with minimal stats this is a very convinient enchant.
But for fun i stuck sheilding hands up there

another advantage of pre is that the monsters do not run away from AoE spells... so SoW farming works... I recommend an axe build with cyclone axe, SoW, breeze, retribution, and shielding hands. I like farming the Bandit raid quest in tandem with the protection prayers quest (the one where you fight alain in the same spot) you can get quite a few worn belts there, and collect approximately 1 belt pouch per run.

i dont really need the belts much....but i've been staying away from SoW recently. But thats hasnt been since ive gotten my sword. I just like bane signet for the KD while i cast my heals. But i dont really need RoF so i could swap it

Monks have healing to make it easy... but what about Mesmers?

Holy crap, with Mesmer as a secondary, you have very little to fear in Pre. Conjure Phantasm is simply OBSCENE. Once you get it to last 4 or more seconds, you're set. Remember, 5 health degen = 10 health per second. 4 seconds of that is 40 health. That's a good chunk out of those weaker enemies.

I would think a Mo/Me could dance through all of pre without a problem. Between Healing Breeze and Conjure Phantasm, with some points in smiting for Retribution and Bane Signet (why not?), GG Northlands Charr.

.....yeah wars are basically to get closer to enemy with the best armor for max damage.....hammers can do up to the most damage.....15-35 that's alot of damage from a max damage weapon
